(Just in time for Halloween…!) Based on calories and sugar, whether there’s any protein or fiber to help keep you satiated, and how long they take to eat (so you’re not reaching for more,) nutritionist feel like these candies are “less bad” for you:
1. Gummy worms. One serving of eight gummy worms comes in at 100 calories and 14 grams of sugar. And since they’re chewy, they take a bit longer to eat.
2. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. A single peanut butter cup has 110 calories and 11 grams of sugar, but there’s also two grams of protein and one gram of fiber to make it a more well rounded snack.
3. Blow Pops. 13 grams of sugar but only 70 calories. Plus, sucking on one will take you a while to finish.
