Sunday is the 37th Annual Terry Fox Run. In Barrie, a 93 year-old WWII veteran has been committed to the cause for decades and is trying to reach his goal of raising $1 million and he’s approximately $200,000 short.

Will Dwyer used to go door-to-door to raise the cancer research money, but he says he can’t walk more than 3 or 4 steps now because he’s afraid of falling. Plus, this summer’s scorching temps also have made it difficult for him. If you’d like to donate to the Terry Fox Foundation in William Dwyer’s name, you can do so HERE.
