Friday (March 12) was declared a National Day of Observance in Canada to mark one year since the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic.   Britain will mark the day March 23 as a National Day of Reflection.  The charity Marie Curie has released a very powerful advertisement featuring the song Ed Sheeran wrote for his grandmother called “Supermarket Flowers”. “Possessions” is the name of the commercial which features items that were owned by people who passed away from the virus. Possessions can be powerful reminders of those we have loved and lost.  In the UK residents are being asked to take a moment of silence to reflect and connect.
