Taste of Little Italy 2022

The 2022 Taste of Little Italy Street Festival will run from June 17 – 19 College St., from Bathurst St. to Shaw St., will close to vehicle traffic as it transforms into an eclectic street festival for the whole family; featuring live performances on multiple stages, food and drink, extended patios from local restaurants, community booths and kid-friendly carnival rides and games.

 

 Summer Music in the Park

Summer Music in the Park music series taking place in the Village of Yorkville Park through June 17th to September 5th. Residents and visitors of the Designated Tourist Area can enjoy live performances from an exciting line-up of artists while embracing all that the neighbourhood has to offer during the summer months. Performances will be taking place on Fridays from 11:30am – 2:30pm and Saturdays, Sundays & Statutory Holidays between 1:30pm – 4:30pm (weather permitting) with sounds ranging from jazz and avant-pop, to traditional Cuban standards, Celtic/Americana and soulful blues.

 

12th Annual Yorkville Exotic Car Show

The 12th annual Yorkville Exotic Car Show (YECS). After two years of performing virtually, YECS will return to Bloor Street this Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19th from 12pm – 5pm. Expect a red-carpet display of luxury vehicles on Bloor Street (from Avenue Road to Bay Street) in support of Melanoma Canada (MC), formerly Melanoma Network of Canada (MNC). This year, the event will feature classic and exotic cars, including Corvette, Jaguar, Porsche, Aston Martin, and more.

 

Highland Creek Heritage Festival

Currently in its 35th year, this festival is free to attend. The Highland Creek Heritage Festival celebrates one of the earliest settlements in the Scarborough community with a fun filled day of music, food and entertainment for the whole family! Festival Opening Ceremony is scheduled for 10:30am. Highland Creek Heritage Festival is a place people gather together to celebrate the season and our neighbourhood, gather to cultivate a sense of belonging and invest in local community.

 

Czech and Slovak Festival

The 74th annual Czech and Slovak Festival is back after a two-year hiatus in beautiful Masaryk Park in Scarborough. Come hear live music, see traditional folk dancing and eat delicious food with us!
