The Toronto Outdoor Art Fair Canada’s leading contemporary outdoor art fair will be returning this weekend to Nathan Phillips Square for the much-anticipated return of the in-person 300+ artist showcase. In addition to the open-air fair, the cascading stage will be jam-packed with live music, thought-provoking contemporary dance, and the awesome vibes of TOAF’s unique Beer Garden. Toronto Outdoor Art Fair is back, bigger and better than before! For the first time in Toronto’s Outdoor Art Fair 61 year history, we are expanding nationally with the online fair as well as bringing TOAF to Nathan Phillips Square with an even more dynamic program than ever before. If you haven’t been to a TOAF before, this is the year to check it out!

4th Annual Bloor West StreetFest Event in Bloor West Village. After a 2 year hiatus, this event returns with live entertainment, children’s midway rides, a classic car show, artisans and vendors, an outdoor Rock Climbing Wall presented by Meridian, SuperDogs Performances presented by Ruffin’s Pet Centres, Face Painting and Glitter Tattoos by Sidorova Inwood Realty, daring street performers, and a huge Sidewalk Sale. Bring your family, friends and appetite. This will be the highlight of the summer for West Toronto. There’s something for everyone!
Note: Bloor West Street street will be closed for foot traffic only between Armadale Ave. and Runnymede Rd. for this event. Access remains open for TTC, All Green P parking in the area remains open.

Festival of India – Celebrating 50 Years of Inclusion and Culture in Toronto – Festival of India – July 16-17, 2022. This annual summer festival celebrates a milestone year with a parade down Yonge Street and a free two-day cultural festival on Centre Island. The parade, Rathayatra, is accompanied by an explosion of drumming, singing, and dancing all the way from Dundas Square to Queens Quay. The festival then shifts over to Centre Island for the remainder of the weekend where festival-goers will find a massive, tented outdoor pavilion. Festival Schedule: Saturday, July 16th | Parade 11:00-2:00 pm. Starts @Yonge-Dundas Square Participants then take a ferry to the festival site on Centre Island 12:00 pm-9:00 pm. Sunday, July 17th | No parade, just the festival site. Festival site on Centre Island 12:00pm-5:00pm. Main attractions at Centre Island site include: a free plant-based hot meal will be served to more than 30,000+ people, “Yoga Meltdown”; is a collaboration of yoga studios donating free yoga, South East Asian arts & cultural performances: dance, songs, and more. The Festival of India is geared towards all Torontonians and promotes conscious living and spiritual understanding in a dynamic and incredibly fun-filled way.

Edwards Gardens Garbage Pickup – Canadian Youth Environment Society is a federally incorporated youth-led not-for-profit organization that aims to combat environmental issues as a community. With members from all across North America, we believe that the most effective solution to environmental degradation is obtained through the collective effort of the community. On July 17th, we are collaborating with another non-profit organization, One Piece A Day, to host a regional garbage pick-up in the City of Toronto, at Edwards Gardens.
