Wheels on the Danforth Street Festival
Crossroads of the Danforth BIA has presented the Wheels on the Danforth Street Festival providing FREE family fun for all ages where Danforth Road and Danforth Avenue meet. This year’s festival has something for everyone including two dynamic car shows, music, street performers, food and lots of free family fun. Located in Oakridge Park will be our Kid’s Zone area including games, face painting, and a pirate ship bouncy castle. There will also be a mini produce market, snack and drink table, and an ice cream truck, from which you can purchase snacks for the movies duration. For car buffs, this year’s Car Show will host Classics, Exotics, Tuners, Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, & Motorcycles all lined up on the closed section of Danforth Road and Danforth Avenue. This is a professionally judged event with trophies and prizes Wheels on the Danforth Street Festival is proud to present three stages located on Danforth Avenue at Byng Avenue, Danforth Road and Warden Avenue. Stroll the streets and enjoy the magic of our buskers, while enjoying fabulous food, fun and loads to see and do. Fun for ALL-AGES

Leaside Living – Walking Tour
Stroll through one of Toronto’s first planned communities, inspired by the Garden City movement. Experience Leaside’s growth through its diverse architecture, from 19th century farmhouses to Gothic Revival churches, from Art Moderne apartment buildings to the city’s first strip mall, and delve into local lore including the tale of the Great Housing Lottery of 1939. This Heritage Toronto tour runs rain or shine and lasts approximately 90 minutes. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and consider bringing sunscreen and water to make your tour as enjoyable as possible.
