Redpath Waterfront Festival 2022

From September 17 to September 18, take your imagination for a walk on Toronto’s waterfront with its first in-person festival after two years. The festival will take place over a weekend at HTO Park and Sugar Beach to celebrate the last weekend of summer with on-land and on-water programs.

Festival Highlights:

  • An exciting lineup of local talent on the RBCxMusic Stage in HTO Park and the Bayside Village Stage in Sugar Beach.
  • A 65-foot working replica of the original TV character Theodore TOO Tugboat.
  • Visit and learn with Parks Canada about protecting the ocean and snap a selfie with their giant inflatable Beaver.
  • Meet the Royal Canadian Navy crew.
  • Check out interactive cultural activities with Mississauga’s of the Credit First Nation, Moccasin Identifier, and Indigenous Tourism Ontario.
  • Grab a nibble from local food trucks at Billy Bishop Airport Picnic Lounge.

 

Small World Music Festival 2022

Sept 16 – 18, 2022 | The Beat of the Globe in the Heart of Toronto

Join us September 16th through 18th at Fort York Garrison Common, for a FREE, family-friendly community celebration of music, dance, craft, food and more! Some of the participating artists include International names like hypnotic French-Venezuelan singer La Chica, Argentina’s Tanghetto with their neo-tango sound, and the rousing spiritualism of Fareed Ayaz & Abu Muhammad Qawwali from Pakistan. The festival’s two stages will feature the best in genre-busting and culture-crossing sounds, celebrating Canada’s ever-evolving musical landscape. From Toronto, Montreal and beyond, they’ll include Funk Lion, Moneka Arabic Jazz, Pantayo, Shauit, Joyce N’Sana, Clerel, Hawa B and many more.

 

RELISH The Foodie Event

RELISH The Foodie Event is coming back to Cloverdale Mall this September and it’s even bigger and better than before! The two day, free-to-attend, food-themed event will take place on September 17 and 18, 2022 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, in the Centre’s north parking lot (250 The East Mall). From local food trucks serving up a variety of delish eats; artisanal market vendors selling their yummy wares; and, picnicking on the grass to food-themed activities for the Little Foodsters; picking up fresh florals at the flower market; and, new this year—roller skating at the Cloverdale Roller Rink, the event promises to offer something to satisfy everyone’s cravings!

 

Danforth East Arts Fair 2022

DOZENS OF ARTISTS, HUNDREDS OF YOUR NEIGHBOURS, ONE VENUE

Fair Date: September 17 & 18, 2022 – The Danforth East Arts Fair is a free event held in East Lynn Park, located on the south side of Danforth Ave between Coxwell and Woodbine Avenues. The fair showcases the work of an eclectic mix of over 60 local artists in a beautiful outdoor setting.  We have live music, free kid’s activities and you can grab a bite on site from a variety of local restaurants. We also offer artists awards – like the popular “people’s choice” award, voted on by attendees – and a chance for visitors to win that special item they found at the event. Our team of volunteers is super excited to be offering this event in 2022 after a 2 year “pandemic gap”.  Hope to see you all there!

 

Roncesvalles Polish Festival 2022

Roncesvalles Festival, North America’s largest celebration of Polish culture in Toronto’s best neighbourhood, Roncesvalles Village! We look forward to seeing you in September 2022. Now entering its fifteenth year, the Roncesvalles Polish Festival adds an old world charm to today’s Roncesvalles Village, well-known as one of Toronto’s most vibrant, diverse and creative communities. Enjoy great local and international music, including Polish folklore, Polka and Euro dance bands, and entertainment from near and far on multiple stages. Saturday night enjoy the ever-popular Dance Under The Stars. Come out and sample fantastic cuisine from over 40 renowned restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and bistros, along Roncesvalles, and of course, lots of traditional Polish fare, including pierogi, kielbasa, bigos, cabbage rolls, and much much more! Discover treasures along the 18 blocks of boutique shops and merchants. We also have a Car Show and many great vendors with unique products and food. The Roncesvalles Festival is easy to get to by transit and car, family-friendly and free, with lots of entertainment for kids, families, and adults, including two midway areas, three stages with continuous entertainment, two giant beverage gardens, and of course the wonderful offerings of Roncesvalles Village’s restaurants and merchants.
