Indonesian Food Festival 2022

The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia will organize an Indonesian Food Festival, An event that will be held on Yonge & Dundas Square on Saturday, 24 September 2022. The festival will feature bazaar of Indonesian food, spices and food products exhibition, cooking demo with Indonesian products, and music performance, batik fashion show and exhibition of handicrafts. The festival will start from 10 AM – 5 PM and will be open to public.

Pedalling the Parks Cycling Tour

Get on your bike for this exploration of our city’s waterfront heritage. Enjoy a leisurely cycle along the shoreline –experiencing the parks, beaches, and landmarks that span Toronto’s lakeside trails – while learning how Lake Ontario has shaped our city through the major moments in our history that played out here. Cycling Tour Information: This Heritage Toronto tour runs rain or shine and lasts approximately two hours. Please wear comfortable clothing for cycling and consider bringing sunscreen and water to make your tour as enjoyable as possible. This tour relies on a loudspeaker sound system. For over 25 years, our goal has been to share Toronto’s history and showcase its architecture, spaces, communities and cultures with as many people as possible. We continue this commitment by providing these accessible tours and ask you to support this work by making a donation when you register, or on the tour. Charitable tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more. This tour was developed by an emerging historian.
