We’re LOVING this trend of gender role-reversal reboots on the big and small screen! How hilarious was the all-female reboot of Ghostbusters with Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, Kristen Wiig, and Kate MacKinnon?

Also, earlier this week we found out that a gender role-reversal reboot of the 1984 classic Tom Hanks and Daryl Hannah film ‘Splash’ was in the works with Channing Tatum in Hannah’s role of the mermaid and Jillian Bell in Hanks’ role.

Now we’re hearing reports that Rebel Wilson has signed on to play a con artist in the remake of 1988 film Dirty Rotten Scoundrels!

The original movie featured Michael Caine and Steve Martin as swindlers competing to cheat an heiress out of her fortune, and the revamp will be all about the girls. Rebel will play one of two female con artists attempting to steal from a tech mogul. Wilson will also produce the film. Rebel’s co-star will be announced in the coming weeks.

Remember the original?
