Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, sold the most CD’s in 2016.

Reading this is a little shocking considering Wolfgang has been dead for more than 200 years and classical music isn’t really booming right now.

As Billboard reports, Mozart actually only sold about 6,000 copies of 200 disc boxset. Billboard counts each individual CD in the boxset as a sale, making the charting sales number around 1.25 million.
