Celebrate Canada Day with free events at Toronto History Museums and Thomson Memorial Park, plus fireworks across Toronto. Below are just some of the Canada Day celebrations you and your family can enjoy on July 1st!

Thomson Memorial Park Event (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.)

Stop by for a pancake breakfast, browse the artisan market & bounce through all the fun activities.

 

Toronto History Museum Events (all 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

  • Fort York National Historic Site (Proud to be Canadian: Celebrating Chinese Communities)

250 Fort York Blvd. Toronto

Celebrate Chinese Canadians with cooking and calligraphy demonstrations, dancing, face painting, costumes & more.

  • Gibson House Museum

5172 Yonge St. Toronto

Learn about Persian carpet weaving, Korean floral arts & partake in activities for the whole family.

  • Spadina Museum

285 Spadina Rd., Toronto

Enjoy a picnic with family and friends on the beautiful grounds of Spadina Museum and partake in lawn games and outdoor Canada Day themed crafts. Join a guided tour of the inside of the museum (first come first serve).

  • Zion Schoolhouse

1091 Finch Ave E, North York

Enjoy fun and games like stilt walking on the lawn outside and paper crafts in the schoolhouse including a paper chain making. Bring a picnic and picnic blanket and relax in the shade of the evergreen trees.
